We are privileged to serve over 6,800 clients throughout the free world and are a “primary” government contractor in the aerospace industry. APSCREEN also developed the pre-employment qualification guidelines for the U.S. Government’s management of the failed Savings and Loan Industry through the Resolution Trust Corporation, and was the contract employment screener of record on the Lincoln Savings (Charles Keating) matter.  Additionally, APSCREEN has served the Nevada Gaming industry for over 20 years and has been the largest reseller of Employment Credit Reports in that state, since 1985.  APSCREEN is also proud of it’s standing as America’s largest boutique-provider of Commercial Tenant Qualification reports, actively serving over 90% of the professional commercial property management industry.

APSCREEN maintains active, on-site daily jurisdictional research capabilities in over 4,260 jurisdictions nationwide, with 1,563 current contract research relationships through its founding membership in the Public Record Retriever Network, and long-standing membership in the National Public Records Research Association. 

APSCREEN also holds “Certified Reseller” status with the three major credit bureaus; Experian, Trans Union, and Equifax, and enjoys “Bonded Requester” status with most Departments of Motor Vehicles throughout the U.S.  In addition, APSCREEN maintains subscriptions to all major (qualified) “root” (proprietary) information repositories (30 plus) with “record capture” in excess of 300 billion public, semi-public, semi-private and private records.

We can obtain criminal records in all free ports worldwide.  In addition, we are proud members of both the Professionals in Human Resources Management and The Society for Human Resources Management.

Our founder, Thomas C. Lawson is often referred to as one of the "founding fathers of the screening industry" by his peers and the media.  He was the 1990 Chapter Chairman of the Orange County Chapter of the American Society of Industrial Security, and is a Life Member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, of which he is also at present a sitting member of the Editorial Review Board of that Association. 

Mr. Lawson is the first Court-Certified Expert Witness on the topic of Improper Employment Screening* and actively purveys expert testimony and consulting services under the following disciplines:
